Definition:

Enhancement that is identical or nearly identical to that of liver.

If any portion of the observation differs unequivocally in enhancement from liver:

If there is equivocal hyperenhancement or equivocal hypoenhancement:

Comments:

May apply to arterial phase, portal venous phase, or delayed phase.
Specifying the phase is necessary.
Isoenhancement may represent either isoattenuation or isointensity depending on the modality used.
